WOW.......... lot of bitching....... any who, if the gsxr can keep its front down all they way down the track he will still probably beat you. Those bikes bite down really hard on a track. I just sold my 05 gsxr 750. If you have never been on one you dont really know how fast they really are. They dont call them crotch rockets just for the hell of it. If he is an experenced rider i think he will win

There is no doubt in my mind that the GSXR 1000 would win.
I went over to my storage to start my '06 GSXR 750 a couple of days ago... Haven't road it in a few month, so I took it around the facility and I started to open it up...
Got to about 45mph and the bike just started to go towards red line for some reason...
I let up and realized that even though I was already going 45mph the tire had started spinning on me!
Could have caused some serious injury, but it makes you feel good about the bike still...

I know that on my 2006 gsxr 750, I can get up to 88 in second gear (within only a few seconds). So honestly, with a gsxr 1000 you could probably go faster than that and that means less shifting and more hanging onto your ass and just twisting the throttle. Not to mention the bike pus rider is still almost 3000lbs lighter...

you will LOSE.... a SOHC 2.3 honda with a little spray and a bore kit is not going to be fast enough to beat a 9 sec bike with a 10 car jump

I am still here, finally got the car out of the shop....the race might not go any more the guy with the bike is a little girl and doesn't want to run it he thinks he might crash....loser scared of the ?
