okay if a CL-S was stock and late model(like last few years) of the Ford Tarsus was stock with the V-8 and they lined up in the 1/4 mile who would win.

but the reason I ask this is cause he has a 88 or 89 SHO and he's got a 3.0 dohc. he said with a 3.2 DOHC he could hang with a CL-S and a the V-8 he's smoke him(cause he's thinking about a motor swap)(he talked like he's going to do the 3.2 motor swap) cause he said he'd have a hell of lot of work to do as far as drivetrain if he went with the V-8(cause he'd have to find a frame cause they were AWD ) basically all he'd keep would be the body
personally I rode in his SHO (with the 3.0) it's not off the hook fast(It's faster than a 4-popper accord but I think slower than like 98-02 V-6 Accords) but even if he does the 3.2 motor swap i don't think he can hang with a CL-S

 

I raced a Tauras SHO Mid-90's in the 2002 Nissan Maxima 3.5L I rented and I raped him with no problem. You should take him with ease.

 

rape...sodimize this SHO pulls up to me the other night like that dodge ram commercial..."hey does that thing got a hemi in it"...he goes what you got done to that...i said headers and intake...didnt want to get into it ..he goes thats it....i said "you?" he said "it's just a SHOW"... exhaust...more like it needed an exhaust and it had a SHO bumper cover...seems like it was a 100 cars back....what a dog

That SHO gives V-8s a bad name...

the only 'quick' ones were the V-6 manuals...

you'll have no problem beating him....
