hey i know this belongs in detailng but to bad, ok i washed and waxed my car last week , now i wanna wash it again do i have to apply another coat of wax or can i just wash it and let it be, to put it short and sweet how many times should i wash it b4 i apply another coat of wax, thanx guys

 

You can get thru a few washes before waxing again...u can tell when u need to wax again when washing.

depends what kind of wax you use. If you use a synthetic 2 or 3 times a year is sufficient depending on the environment your car sees, i.e. salt and dirt, garaged or not, etc. I use Zymol. it's not synthetic and my car isn't garage kept so I do it about once every 2 months. and I deep clean and polish 2 to 3 times a year. also make sure you spray down the car with cold water right after you wax it. The wax will set up harder. if you dry it and buff the hell out of it after you spray it down it'll look like a mirror and last longer too.
