yes

they work great. definetely reduce the noise by half but was a little bit of a bitch to install. dont recommend installing unless you have the right tools

a chisel type of tool (cant remember what its called)
and a powerfull drill

I second sidemarker's assessment. If the drone is killing you, get'em and don't look back.

a center punch is a like a small chisel but it is pointy

its used to put a dimple into whatever you are trying to drill through(usually metal) so you dont walk the bit!

i suggest you put in the quiet tip make sure it has a snug fit then mark it. take out the inserts and get your center punch hammer it in real good to get a good size indention and drill away. put the insert back in and screw them in.

sounds simple but drilling through metal especially in an ackward angle from under the car is tough...

I painted my quiet tip inserts with high temp black paint, so they don't look bad at all.

The quiet tips DO NOT reduce the noise by half, it reduces the noise to STOCK.

Installation should be ok....pop in the inserts, they will pop securly, and mark the hole, use a DRILL to drill out the hole, and ur done.

I'll upload pics when i get home.

" I have this half picture off one of my old post at A-TL.com"

Looks kinda dirty though,

i have to disagree with the noise

stock HAS NO SOUND, so if you have the radio off the car is quiet as hell!

the quiet tips reduce the noise by half because at normal driving speed you can still here the drone even with the radio on

no they not work

the comptech quiet tips were meant to fit in the tip of the comptech exhaust.

Yup, my car sounds completely stock with them on. The only thing I hear is my CAI.
