My car by title is salvaged but its because my car was stolen and was being sent somewhere else. Nothing was taken out of my car, you think i have a chance in getting my warranty? And right now i have 38 k and my tranny is workin great. Is the problem from driving hard and for long preiods of time? Any feed back would be appreciated.

 

The tranny warranty was extended to 100,000 so you're OK for a long time on it. Although there were a lot of people who had tranny problems, remember that number is still probably less than 2 percent..

 

Approach a local dealer and ask them if the car is still under factory warranty by having them run an inquiry on the car through Acura's computer network .If i remember correctly a vehicle with a salvage title usually has a voided warranty .But inquire with your dealer .Jens

 

That's what I thought also...once there is a salvaged title on the car...all warranty from the manufacture is voided.

 

Salvaged title will void all warranties. Did you buy the car knowing that it had a tainted title?

why would you buy a car with a salvage title??? ESPECIALLY a late-model car?? i hope you didnt pay more than 10k for a CL-S with a salvage warranty

 

Salvage Title = No Warranty & low/no resale value.
