Works Bell Rapfix Short Boss/Hub - Honda S2000 AP1/AP2, Civic EK / EP / FG, Fit GD3, Acura RSX DC5, TSX

that is a list of cars the short hub is for. Since the s2000 and rsx/dc5 steering wheels fit our cars i assume the hubs do also.

I would try the cheaper $50 option and go from there

yea im getting this done right now. According to the acura service advisor i talked to he thinks replacing the 1 bearing which is the lower one should resolve 75% or more of my play issues so I am hoping that is good enough.

got car back from dealer and it isnt any better than when i dropped it off. That was alot of time and money for nothing. Now I am wondering if it is the 1 bearing i didnt have them replace or soemthing else. Last thing i want to do is replace the whole column if I dont have to. Also is there any chance this clicking i feel in the steering wheel only when i turn the wheel sharply to the left, could that be a symptom of a bad tie rod?

ok so i just talked to acura on the phone and they told me that it cant be any of the suspension parts cause they checked all of those. He said that the only 2 moving parts in the column are the 2 bearings and the srs piece behind the wheel. He said the one they replaced had alot of play in it but the one that they cant replace seemed fine. According to him my car should be fine now but i still feel this clicking when i turn the wheel left that i didnt a month ago or ever before that. I am stumped as of what to do now.

might also be slight play in the steering rack also where the column gear (pinon) meshes with the rack, it's adjustable, but not with out some specialized wrenches though (very large ones)

and you can occasionlly feel it when you you are checking the suspension but not always though (i occasionally feel it on cars when checking the tie rods and such)(it's like a muted clunk/play, that you can normally at least feel on both sides, kinda hard to explain exactly though

as far as showing up afterwards, you just might have not ever noticed it before till you pulled your wheel the first time,
