Quick question on splash guards
I installed mine tonight. Pretty easy. I just had to remove the back wheels to get access to the screws that hold the back splash guards on. Took me total of an hour or so since I was pretty slow but I'd rather take my time than pay Acura to install them. My question is...how well do yours (if you have them) fit? They look good on my car but they aren't really THAT tight up against the car. Not like there is really a gap but you could probably slide a piece of paper between the car and guard. I could imagine that things like bits of sand or whatever could potentially gets in behind it and even though most of what the splash guards connect to is plastic I was just wondering if there was something wrong. I ordered them online from one of the Acura parts 4-less type places but that made we wonder if they were actually selling "seconds" or something.
Anyhow...they look good on a black car.

I put mine on myself and they fit prettywell but I also noticed the slight gap, which I think is normal. Im lucky that I have a right angle powerrachet so I didn't have to remove the rear wheels. Total install time for me was about 5-10min I wouldn't worry about stuff getting in them because they have drain holes on the bottom

Where is my super sauce?
Do any of you have pics of these (on a black car preferably)? I've been thinking about getting them.
Since I lowered the car and got the aftermarket wheels I've noticed more splash up the sides of the car.

...Plus I hate it when I get debris kicked up into MY windshield (hood, bumper...) from someone in front of me that doesn't have the guards/flaps. Its time to demonstrate by example...

Yeah, installed mine myself as well and they fit rather nicely. It's not totally tight like how a visor would fit on the moonroof, but it's alright. I think I can slip paper in between it really easy, but I'm fine with it. If it was really tight, I'm sure the paint will become raised like what a moonroof visor would do to your roof. But then again, having it loose would cause dirt to get trapped between and cause some scratching. Lose-lose situation?

If I start to feel that it is a problem maybe I'll use some double sided tape. Until then it should be alright. Unless you look for it, it isn't too obvious. As someone mentioned, they do have drain holes.

Had mine installed at the dealer. Cost $75 for the install.
The guards fit and look good from a distance. If you look, there's no visible gap.
When I wash the guards they do move and that freaked me out the first time I did this. I guess it the type of guard. Other mud guards (on other vehicals) seem to have a snug fit (almost like they're molded on).

which service and how much is it costing you? I"m at 15k and they want 170...which isn't too bad except when I look in the manual 15k service is just an oil change/tire rotation/brake checks...should I just do oil/tire and check brakes myself and save $120?(they ask $50 for oil/tire rotate)
