Yes, and you should clean it about 25K miles depending on your driving conditions. Appply cleaner to filter and let it sit for a while. Use a water hose with light pressure and spray the filter from the inside out. Applie oil after drying. You are good for another 25K

I think 25K is a bit too many miles. Especially if you live in an area that receives snow. And where that filter sits... That's just too long to wait IMHO.

I cleaned mine in spring and fall.

in the charger kit, it said you only need to clean it every 50k . I clean mine once a year.

Agreed.
I clean mine every SPRING & FALL and it’s usually filthy.
The kit is good for MANY cleanings so why wait so long in-between?

I only put about 10K a year on the car so that equates to about 5,000 per cleaning.

Are Injen intakes make out of the same material as the AEM? I guess my question is, can I use the recharger kit for Injen intakes as well??

I've not clean mine for over a year now, but I only have 18K on my car.

Has anyone used the K&N Filter Cleaning kit for a foam filter?

Comptech includes a UNI foam filter for the Icebox. I'm having trouble finding UNI cleaning kits online, except for Comptech themselves. I've heard that you can find UNI products at motorcycle shops, but have not checked that out yet.

It would be way easier if I could stop by Autozone and pick up the K&N Kit and be done with it.
