I have the gold package on my black cl, but i never wanted the type S badge in full gold, I wanted the dealer to give me the type in gold and then the S red. where can I buy that emblem, and can i get instructions for debadging just the type S emblem and then putting on the new one straight and correctly.

 

To debadge it just heat up the emblem (its double sided taped on) take a string and run it behind it....it will pop off. As for getting the Type S emblem....they are $35 a piece at my dealership.

 

I've seen the TypeS emblem on ebay for alot cheaper .. search around Ebay. Can you post pics of your car w/ the gold emblem kit?

 

ditch the gold and get the chrome
