fawking car wouldnt start. i drove to and from work, to the gym and after my workout my car wouldnt start. i unlocked it, sat down, situated a few things, (all while lights are on) and then proceeded to start it. click click click WTF!?! click click click. so i jumped it off and it started fine. i drove around 10 minutes then parked it. i have only had the car a little over a year, and it was acura certified (dosnt that mean it was new battery?) alternator? dead battery?

click, click. click sound, tells me one thing.... the battery is dead...
could be your alternator is not charging it.. (alternator dead)
or
you just need a new battery.
let us know the outcome.

Actually, just check and make sure that your battery terminal is completely snug! If you've messed with it (ie added wiring for a stereo and/or fogs or such) then they tend to come loose easily! I have that issue with mine occasionally...i'm going to get a new JL Audio terminal to replace it

this is higher than my voltmeters have ever read, even on a brand new optima batt....

My battery died 36 hours after i left the dealership i bought the car at! But they replaced it. It did the same thing as yours with the clicking and regular jumper cables couldn't get it going, i had to call AAA.
Sometimes batteries die, it's all part of the cycle of life. It's in heaven now with jebus. Just go to the store and buy a battery that looks like your old one and you'll forget all about it in a few days.
