for you guys that keep your factory deck and use aftermarket subs/amp or the Basslink....

where are you guys tapping in with the line output coverter to get the RCA output?? do you tap in behind the factory deck? or do you tap in the speaker wires in the trunk? also, where are you guys running your remote and groung wires to??

I'm probably going to do my install over the Labor Day weekend using SilverKnight's template.

Here's the link -

Also, check out the A/V and Electronics forum.

You really don't need a line output converter. You can splice in some RCA's to the audio signal coming from the head unit. It's already line level. This is what I had a shop do. If you want to do that Maybe someone can give you the correct wire colors. I have the helms, but wil not be able to give you the colors till Monday. The rest I did. Turn on is from the fuse box. Ran power wire from battery to sub. Ran ground to the location in Silverknights template.

You will likely need a ground loop isolator if you don't use the line output converters, but it is DEFINATELY the way to go. LOCs suck big time.

Here's the file you need:

Keep in mind that you will use the SOLID colored wires BEFORE the amp... not the ones at the bottom.
