I was curious as to what the authentic spoiler is made out of. It seems to be almost rubber-like...very flexible. I can't tell if its plastic. Is it supposed to be like this? Also, I placed it upon my trunk and it seems to be about 3/4" - 1" short. Is it supposed to stretch or whatnot?? Somebody please help. On the bottom side it says BMW 2 695 445 E46/2 M3, and then some weird grid...then to the right it says >PUR GF 15< . Is this the authentic spoiler or not???

never mind, I found teh problem.....i was sent the M3 spoiler, not the M5...I believe the M5 is a tad bit longer...
