Hey guys I just heard about this page tonight as a I was browsing and Ive been reading alot of interesting topics. I purchased a 2001 White CL Type S and I have already installed my Pioneer Tv, Dvd and 2 12" inch subwoofers. Now about performance I dont know alot about and I do want to add some speed to my car and I have about 2,000 dollars to spend. I would appreciate if you guys can be specific on good products for the money that I can purchase...

 

definetly get springs, sways, and CAI...

If you have any $$$ leftover get headers

 

You shoulg get Pulleys and CAI if you want performance for your car. If you have the cash, get headers. Later this month a RES is coming for our cars, it is supposed to give you more torque and HP.

Since you specifically said speed, i would go Headers and intake, and save the rest for the RES. If you don't want to wait for the RES, then use the leftover for sways.

About the tv as soon as i get the scanner on this new comp ill upload it to let u guys see it....

 

the RES is suppose to go on top of your intake manifold. It is supposedly to give u 15 HP and 15 lbs of torque for $299. Right now there's something going on that i dont know. Maybe someone can shed some light on this.

Hello and welcome to the board. You got the best color . Since you said speed. Go with CAI, RES, Springs and Sways. Wait on the Headers. Some other Manufacturers are making prototypes right now so I would hold off until the price comes down. JMO
