Question concerning RES (Mystery Mod)

There is over ten pages of post concerning the Mystery Mod, but i still can't find an answer.

My question is simple: CAN WE INSTALL THE MYSTERY MOD WITHOUT CHANGING OUT CURRENT HOODS???
