question for AT CL owners

ok sometimes when i have it in D5 and going a lower speed (under30) my car sometimes feels jerky. Like usually when i let off the gas alittle it starts to feel jerky. But when im goign that speed in D4 its nice and smooth. I don't use SS.

Common with everyone else? Just want to make sure.

Hate to say it, but it's a sign that the tranny will die. I had that sign for a long time.

Mine was doing that for about 6 months before I got rid of it. That was a factor in me getting rid of it. I was affraid the tranny was about to blow.

Mine would seem confused on whether it wanted to be in D4 or D5 when going slow up an incline. It would shift back and forth and cause a real jerky ride. I would just put it in D4 until I got over the problem part of the road. It never acted up in any other ways than this though. Only when going 30-40mph up a slight incline.

Good luck with it, I still miss my CLeo at times,

Jabo

My first two transmissions did this. My third one is doing it too. I don't believe it's a sign of a dying transmission. Could it have something to do with the torque converter?

uhh...Ryan your first two trannys did it, and they went out. Now your third one is doing it...I'm just waiting for history to repeat its self, ah ah ahh....I think it has to do with all of those neutral drop burnouts you do
