can u list ur mods, i want to know what it takes to make our cars in the 13's without a blower...

 

umm...

first off if you're addressing allmotor_2000 he isn't allmotor, he has a turbo setup.

but the only way to get into 13's without FI would be to change the block to 3.5 or even 3.7L. TypeR has a 3.5 block setup with a 5AT and he runs around 13.3 i believe.

allmotor was all motor at one point, it's just been awhile. I think he might have gotten into the 13's all motor, without the 3.5.

 

A member on here ran 14.2 @ 98mph with only a Comptech Icebox and BFG drag radials.

That was with a 03 6MT CL-S.

I say with intake/header and slicks, the 03 CLS-6 will run 13s.

 

yea allmotor had some engine mods, i think TB and intake manifold im not sure, and he did run 13's with the setup. keep in mind that he has a 6spd plus his modding experience is second to none as well as his driving ability

i agree that I/H/E and slicks will allow 6spd to run 13's... but unfortunately no one has tried, or if they did i never heard about it

just like a s/c + HBP 6spd should run 12's but.. i've never seen slips.

 

do u kno where i can get a throttle body and intake manifold for my car i've been searching the whole planet for these mods and came up empty handed, any info on these would be great, or if u talk to allmotor u can ask him or sumthin...also list a price range and where i can get these parts if possible...thanx

 

Do a search on here for: "thermoblock"

Your first mod should be a cold air intake such as the AEM CAI or Comptech Icebox, and then a pair of headers. Then you go from there. Good luck!

 

I would do Cold Air Intake, Headers, Lightweight Crank Pulley, the Mugan Cooling mods and the Thermoblok Spacers and Lightweight Wheels with Drag Radials or street tires at 24 lbs. for the fronts. Empty the car of everything and go on a cool dry day if possible. Have very little gas in the tank too.
