I know swirl marks LOOK bad... but are they bad for your paint?? Does the swirl marks do any kind of damage in the sun? Cuz i have a few on the trunk lid and i was just curious how bad it will be for it being there.

 

As far as my knowledge, swirl marks dont do any damage to the paint. My brother in law bought a 3m swirl remover product. He said it works pretty good! The Chicago Zaino guy recommended it.

This is a little off topic, but I was looking at the pics of your sub install and I was thinking that the setup you have takes up a lot of your trunk space. Why is the box so big for just one 12?

I am thinking about using the same components, but I don't want to give up that much of my trunk space. Where did you end up buying the sub and the amp?

 

Well thats just the wall for the sub and box, the acutally box it behind that wall. I have no idea why they made it the way they did but it sounds great. I think they did it that way cuz the trunk of my TL is not flat in that section.
