Has anyone done this .........

Change there oil on the CL-S at a different interval period such as 5000 or 6000 miles. Instead of the recommended 3750 or 7500 mile frequency.

What you mean by hurt my wallet? I will be adopting a longer oil change interval of 6,000 with synthetic oil and I dont drive that many miles per year. may be less than 11k

I use Mobil 1 and change my oil about every 6000 miles. I drive my car hard and also put on quite a few miles in a short amount of time. I bought the car 1/12/01 and hit the 12000 mile mark today on my way to work.

I bought mine on 4/17/01 and it has only 1989 miles. All the miles are hwy miles to San Antonio or Corpus Christi, TX. My car is more a weekend and travel car.

My daily driver is a 98 Jetta VR6, my little racing car with many mods with 188.3 HP at the wheel. Can woop many cars but not my CL-S
