Question about speakers,

I haven't tinkered with my car enough to know many of the details so this question goes out to those of you who may/seem to know a little something about the sound system. How good are our premium/Bose speakers and how much improvement do you think replaceing them with say some Infinity's would make? I've been browsing Crutchfield and putting together a system in my head, nothing outragiously loud, just high quality and pure.

Any thoughts appreciated...

aeon, From what I have heard & what I can see (of the rear speakers), the stock speakers are pretty lame. Paper cones even!! I spoke with Crutchfield & they are reviewing data on the 2001 CL, now. I have added a subwoofer & plan on replacing the rear speakers & and maybe another amp to drive the new rear speakers. It depends on what fits in the doors (sometimes you have a real clearance problem with window frames/ channels, etc), if I do or do not replace the door speakers. The tweeters sound OK & would be difficult to replace, so I'll leave them alone. Any upgrades that I do or info that I find out about what speakers fit the CL, I'll post on this forum(or the Audio forum if it gets started)
