Question about the paint......................

I kknow this topic should be in the detailing section.

that is the touch up paint. I notice that when you buy the touch paint from the Acura dealer, you only get one bottle instead of two, second one being the clear. Why is this the case? Isn't our acura paint a base with a clear coat? Why we dont get a clear with the touch? isnt the clear there to help improve the shine and actually proctec the color from fading.

What is the general opinion regarding this issue
