I have an 03 CL P as you guys call it. And I don't have factory fog lights. In my bumper instead they are like air ducts.
I called Acura today and they said they are unavailable for 03 clp's and so I asked about 02 clp fog lights.

They said that they would not fit?! BUT THEY LOOK EXACTLY identical

So can anyone tell me who has an 03 CLP about factory fog lights in the bumper?

 

I have an 01 and I swapped my road lamps with someone on the board for their plastic housings.

So yes, they fit. Lots of people on the board have done the swap.

 

So I can just buy 02' CL foglamp housing and it'll fit on my stock bumper no problems?!
the parts guy at acura is a dumbass, he's like i don't think they'll fit

they look identical.

and he said if i wanted the wiring with the bulbs and stuff,
he said $800 because it's a harness that plugs into something

but I'll take the housing for $65 per piece.

thats ridiculous. and those housings cost $65 each? I swapped mine even for the black plastic piece...

 

They fit, I've got the roadlamps (not foglights) on my 03 CLS. it's the same exact bumper every year, every CL model, you just don't get the stock wiring in the 03. Dealers are dumb, mine didn't know the 03 did not come with the lights. they told me seems like $300 for the wiring, but you can just splice into other lights for power. I got my roadlamps off ebay for less than half the dealer price.

 

They are roadlamps and not Fog lights right?!

Because I think the roadlamps are a clear housing with reflective material inside.
I've seen some Fog lights that are like not clear housing.

I am looking for the roadlamps.
hahaha I am gonna do something totally illegal for them.
I only need the housing. I am gonna put in a blue strobe light and a red one. One of each side in the housing. As well I've already picked up a siren that sounds like a interceptor police car siren. I am so gonna scare the shit of my friends.
But I hope I never get caught with them on by cops!

and yeah... they are road lamps. road lamps are just for looks. fog lamps actually put out some light.

How about I swap my driving lamps and headlamps with yours? haha..I know you wouldn't do that. ;-( Plus some cash??? I know you still wouldn't do that.. :P

 

I don't know why ppl like my black headlights? they don't look good on silver.

Yeah I will, and maybe I'll show you. I think I am getting them next week. They';re $65 per side for the housing at Richmond Acura.

Just for the housing alone. I don't think it comes with the bulb wires and stuff so.
