Hey I went thru the instructions about clearing out the lights of my CL and I pretty much decided that if I did it myself I'd prolly mess it up, so does anybody know of any places you could take the car to get it done for you?

 

if you're careful and take your time...you shouldnt mess it up....its fairly easy..just tideous

If i knew, i would tell u, but it took me one whole day to do this....i took my time and it came out great. I thought i would mess it up but turned out i didnt.

Alright well it sez you need to replace the old yellow with new clear or black silicon after you peel it off... where do I get this stuff?

 

u dont have to replace the yellow light....u just pop it out. What color is ur car? I got blakc silicone because my car is black. U need the silicone to seal the headlights back together. You can get the silicone for like 2 bucks. U must be very careful removing the silicone, if not the chrome paint will come off.

It's monterey blue... you don't replace the old bulb, you just leave it empty?

 

well hmmm....i guess u can use black silicone...im not sure...maybe someone else here can tell u....but yes i replace the bulb with Hybrid Xenon lights.

Alright well I'll prolly try clearing my lights sometime over spring break... if I mess up I'll prolly just do a lot of crying and etc.. haha. Anyway thanks for your help I'm only 16 and this is my first car so I REALLY don't wanna fuck this up, you know? I think some of my friends might be able to help me.. and if you know any other cool ways to soop up the '01 CL feel free to post. -peace-

Thanks Jayru but there's a CL-P parked in my garage... not a CL-S, to us enthusiasts they're two different worlds, but to the masses, they might as well be the same car... psssssttt- just dont tell the kids at school, haha
