Question about CAI

Hello all. This is my first time here, and I have a quick question for ya'll. I live in New Orleans where it rains and floods a lot. I know the CAI have the bypass valve, but is there still a real danger of getting water in the engine that will damage it?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With the bypas Valve installed it is not a concern. Unless your up to you window sills in water, in which case you have bigger problems then hyrdo-lock The valve has been independently teste and proven as effective, do a search on the forum and you will see the study Hope that Helps ...

Does the by-pass valve reduce the hp gain of the cai?
