So the cop pulls me over and says he's on tint patrol today. WTF?? Gives me a repair order that says it must be fixed within 10 days. I then need to get it inspected by a mechanic and have them sign off on it. Anyone know a shop that'll hook me up? PM me with the info please. Oh yeah, I have 20% all around.

 

thats happen to me, some board ass cop at night but i had limo, had it for a year no probs. not even when i was next to a state cop didnt say anything it all about asshole control, i even got pull over in mont. village for green washer lights, but there is no real hook up for that because you have to take back to the mva for them to check it out.

The problem with getting someone to just sign off on you is that they do keep track of that stuff. Each MD state inspector has a personal license and number. If you get pulled over again the guy who signed off for you very well may have his license revoked forever.

 

I personally haven't been pulled over for tints at all while driving on 270. It will be hard to find someone that would sign off on that because of the same reasons that mr.steve said. Good luck though!
