pulled over by a cop for no ticket

I got pulled over last night by two freaking cops in one car, OMG, I hate santa clarita valley, they pull me over, im 17, and warn me that I shouldnt be on the streets after 10. All I was doing was driving to freaking 24 hr fitness to meet my dad there, he works late.

WTF IS WRONG WITH COPS

I got pulled over about 6 months ago. I was driving down the street going 45 in a 40. Basically the cop wants to check if I'm drunk or high. I'm OK with that. Then I ask why I was pulled over and he gives me bullshit about my license plate light being out. I was like WTF, its a new car. I got home and my light was working just fine.

YEAH I KNOW

I get the feeling too, he was like new car huh? like driving late at nite? then he said i thought i saw something wrong but guess not, ure 17, not 18 yet and stay at home, dont be driving.

I was like, " um ok officer sorry about the curfew, ill whip myself to the 24 hr fitness, do my workout and be back in bed soon. He was like GOOD

Santa clarita valley cops are weird sometimes

That brings up another time, a cop, asked me do you have any modifications on my car. I was NO, since i only had my car for a month at the time, i got my headers and intake on teh 26th of december (WOO HOO) so anyways, he was like, pop your hood, i wanna check. I WAS LIKE WHY??? so i did, since i thought i was in trouble or something hahaa, but then he said nice v6 engine, it was spanking clean heeh, so anyways he went off on his way and i did with mine. STUPID COPS DONT BELIEVE US

You want bored cops?

Sometimes I wish I live in a ghettoer neighborhood where the cops have better things to do....

most cops, yeah.....but I have a friend who's going to school to become a cop and nobody picked on him.....there was this one time when some gimp started some sh*t in class and my friend got him up against the chalk board and start pummeling him. When the teacher came back, my friend looked at her then proceeded to pound the guy. They don't call him "Crazy Joe" for nothing!

ya

That guy looks perfect for the force. Nothing like a run in with a pysho cop that wants to beat your ass and has a 9 strapped to his belt.

Ive had bad expericences...

also been let off way to many times soo it boils down to the roller.

Just the other day my girlfriend and I just pulled out of Taco Bell. She just got some food for herself and she was driving. So we switched seats in the parking lot next door(Which happens to be an Acura dealership).
I get out, then she gets out, pretty soon a sheriff is there harassing me. He tries to turn the story around on me making it look like I was driving and had a warrant out for my arrest. He calls for back-up too!!!
Last ticket I had was over three years ago.
I've never had any trouble with police,
but sheriffs are pricks!!

I suppose making 6 figures a year and owning a nice house in Sonoma County,CA. makes me a loser. By the way, loser is spelled l-o-s-e-r. Most people who hate cops or talk shit about them have broken the law and were caught. I even did stupid shit when I was younger.

Deal with it guys, times are different now. There are a lot more psycho fucks out there today kidnapping children and shooting up neighborhoods for no apparent reason. These are the losers.

I don't think people have problems with all cops, just the ones who ignore going after real criminals and would rather harass drivers for going a few miles an hour over the speed limit.

I think I have the lamest speeding ticket... going 28 in a 25

Later I went to AAA and had them check my speedometer, on the van I currently was driving and it was 3 mph ahead...case dismissed

Granted, getting a ticket for going 25 in a 20 sucks...but, case in fact, you WERE speeding, right? You DID deserve the ticket, right? It would have been good if they let you off but they didn't. It must have been close to ticket quota time....it's like that....

Actually in a lot of states, it is unlawful to write a ticket at those speeds. Meaning it is explcitly written that there is a minimum amount of leeway that must be given in terms of xx mph. IMO, 25/20 is silly.

25 in a 20 is 25% over the legal limit. That's like doing 88 in a 70 highway zone. Ticket city!

That's why I bought my V1. I live very close to work, and most of my commute is in those 25-45 zones. Its the people that scoot off the highway into the neighborhoods to beat traffic are the ones the police are trying to catch. But for me these are my normal route roads. At least my town gives you stickers for the windows.

cops???

dude, the cops were crazy tonight my car club up here in chattanooga with like 50 members...we are officially the bigget car club in this area!!!we all went out to eat and went to the mall parking lot to vote in new members and discuss upcoming events when all of the sudden like 10 cop cars swarm us and tell us not to go anywhere, so we stay there and they accuse us of being a gang, because like 5 of us were wearing the big fred durst, yellow jackets and accuse us of trying to dragrace through the mall parking lot!!!

how crazy....so our president laughs and says damn all this stupid gang dicrimination.....so the cop looks at her and says "so your the clown of the group right"? and she says no just more outgoing than the rest!! so the lady gets all pissed off at her.....and threatens to call for backup and take us all in !!!!

so i was like WTF!!!!

and the whole time me and my friend craig were back in the back taking pics of the cop cars swarming us and we were throwing up gang signs while he was taking pics of it.....

pretty funny huh??? cops are so fu*kin retated!!!

Thats a little misleading by your percentage there,
what if I was doing 5mph in a 4mph zone?
25% over, Oh Darn!

88 in a 70 is a HUGE obvious difference from 25 in a 20.

I enjoyed this thread. The laws must vary widely between states. My in-laws live in NY and judging by how paranoid my other half gets when we cross over the NY state line and the storeies I've heard, you can't eve take a deep breath in NY without a tropper or cop giving you a ticket.
