PT cursier Turbo 2.4L

Does it have the same engine/tubo of the neon Turbo?

It looks nice from the outside? Does it have balls to run?

Any Performance stats for this Retro?

Yes it has the same engine 215HP/245lbft.

with 3200lbs it is good for sub 15s runs! A minor Turbo tweak would put this in low 14s.

the engine seems to be pretty good but the car is ugly and hell and chrysler has HUGE quality of build problems.

One tried to run with me the other day... I pulled on it every step of the way, and I left VSA on and did SS.

I dunno... My wife wanted a PT, so I took her over to the local dealer to drive one. The fockin' thing ran out of gas during the test drive, and the salesman wouldn't call for someone to pick us up. So we walked back to the dealer.

That'll leave a bad taste in my mouth forever.

Yeah, the problem was we left our cell phones in my car, so we were at his mercy. It was only a couple blocks, but still...

The funny part was, the whole way back the guy was bad-mouthing his boss and the dealership in general. Once we arrived back at the dealership, he wanted to deal, said he'd give "top dollar" for my wife's car.

I took one look at him, smiled and walked away. I think my wife was more pissed at the dude than I was. She told him to fuck off... I just kept my mouth shut.

Edit: There's more to this story, but I didn't want to hijack the thread.

It's not that fast, trust me.

C&D had it in the low 7s with a mid 15 second 1/4 mile.

Again, I walked it hard.

I've driven the turbo, 5 speed. From experience with Chrysler cars. It has no low end, but great top end. ALL DC cars seem to be that way. It's fun from 40 up.

Well, you might wanna rerun those figures, dodge gave a worst case scenario on the turbo neon, they heat soaked the intercooler right before dynoing. A friend of mine just got one, dyno'd at 224hp, 255 tq at the wheels. I wish acura advertised worst case dyno's....
