Does anyone have the prototype headers installed. Does anyone know when they will be released or for sale. Any clue on the gains vs comptech or obx. Anything new, just dont give me the www.prototyperacing.com link cause they dont update their site.

I haven't heard anything but what i'd do if they offer a e-mail at the website is e-mail them or call them. keep on them and eventally they'll get them out. I gotta agree with you man Prototype makes some sweet looking headers. i rank the 3 brands of headers like this

ahh comptech personally i think is better than obx (if money isn't a question) but lets not get into that. They have a dyno on a accord. I also emailed them and i'll post any info they send me.

 

yeah.. dyno on the accord looks great... maybe we can see similar results... I'd much rather spend $1000 on those then spend the same on CTs... equal length headers is a concept that's been around for awhile now though... I wonder why no one else is doing it?

 

They are NOT Ugly!! Those are the $hit!!!They are EQUAL length headers. I'm from So. Cal. that is where Joe, owner of Prototype Racing is. I had the chance of visiting his place and taking a look at the headers with other AV6 owners. This will give you more low end power, that's where you want the power...not like CT where you get high end power. CT headers don't give you significant gain until 5000 RPM

Joe was hoping for an end of Sept release, but i do'nt think it's gonna happen....cost is around 1000-1100, with higher gains then CT.
