Proper torque setting for headers

I have not had my Comptech headers re-torqued since they were installed. Does anyone know the proper setting? Is this info in the owner's manual or the Helms manual perhaps?

Page 9-4 in HELMS...

Self-locking nuts on manifold torque -> 23 lb-ft

Note: they don't refer to a retorque procedure, they just spec the 23 ft-lb for remove-replace -- OK...

Note2: Scalbert (Steve) has warned me about trusting the Helm's book for ALL of the torque values (he said some looked suspect..)

Over torqued (like mine from Keyes Acura -- nothing for now, but the nuts have that plier'd/rounded look!).

A few people have had to have their headers retorqued -- a rather simple operation... Just retorque the nuts to the proper torque.

(They reported a loss of power and I think a few noticed a light puffing sound from around the gaskets [I wouldn't bet my life on the puffing sound comment].)
