Problems with Video on Navi conversion

I need help!

We did the whole conversion... and everything works except:

The picture from the Pioneer RGB1 is screwy. Rolls constantly, discolored.

We have checked the DVD player and its video output is fine.

I have double checked all the mods done to the RGB1 and the connections look fine.

Anyone else have any experience like this... we're really pissed.

I've done several other of these conversions and haven't had a problem yet... and didn't do anything different this time, as far as I can tell.

Help! Must have video on navi!

When mind did this, I found the wires to be crossed within the RGB-1. The picture was blue. Probably the connections within the RGB-1. You can simply switch wires instead of resoldering and you might get lucky.

Or you might have connected using the wrong Navi wires.

That's probably all it could be, I don't remember there being any other wires to hook up.

Did your picture roll all over the place and look like total crap (other than the color being off)?

We could barely tell there was a movie there at all.

No. I could still tell it was a movie. But in Gladiator, the stadium dirt was blue and the sky was red. Switched two wires...perfect.

If you are getting the continuous scroll, that sounds like a conflict...or a wrong wire/incorrect hookup. Maybe some wires are toughing......

Or it sounds like your rgb-1 might be screwed up.

Nope... its NTSC. We've taken the player and plugged it into my television in my living room and it works fine. So I don't think it is that.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! This sure was disappointing!
