Went out to lunch today and it took a few times to get my car cranked up, it usually fires right up. Anyone heard of this, is was only sitting for 4-3 hours.

There's infinite possibilites as to why it did this. And this may have just been a one time event, given the numerous conditions present may not be able to be reproduced.

A few things could have happened...and you need to ask yourself these questions.

1) Were any electronic devices on, such as radio, or the A/C. This will drain the battery when you turn the car off, and may lead to slow ignition.

2) How much fuel was in the tank?

3) Was there a dramatic temperature change during that time period?

If the problem persists, it could be a bad battery or ignition, which Acura will replace under warranty.

my car has done this before. im not really worried because if it keeps happening, then i'll just take it to the dealer. you should be fine unless it happens often.

yes this was the first time it's happened, the battery is fine, it has the normal juice. Just kinda weird that I had to turn it over twice , won't worry about it unless it happens again

 

there is a tsb for this problem, take it to the dealer. they may replace your computer and fuel pressure regulator.
