Problem with XLR8 side mount fitment! Help!

Alright guys, I finally got my XLR8 motor mounts in, but had fitment problem with the side mount.
I finally got it on, but required some forcing; however, the mount looks crocked, and it is pressing up against the mount bracket.
Anyone have this problem? And was there a fix???

New to me. Have you contacted the manufacturer or the place you bought them from?

I bought them straight from XLR8.
I've emailed them, but they said I may have to bend the mount, or probably have to send it back to have it checked if it was defected.
I see it difficult to bend, and really don't want to have it taken out and send it back to them, cause my old mount is in pieces and don't want to put it back on.
Would you think this would be safe?
I mean, it drives perfect, but not sure how long the mount would last if it stays crooked.

I can't say we've ever seen side mounts donut out like that. Without having installed them, it's hard to say exactly what's happening. Once in a blue moon we've had to slightly bend a bracket for perfect fitment. The steel isn't compromised if slightly bent. If you can email us some pictures of the mounting points as well that can help us confirm it was installed correctly.

We'll also be emailing you a shipping label for the rear mount you have, and will ship you the correct one free of charge.

Thanks for the return label XLR8. It is definitely great to work with you guys. FAST response and willing to work things out.
I will try to bend the steel; however, if there is damage to the mount or the welding breaks, would you be willing to replace the mount? *crossed fingers*
This side mount is very straight forward on the install, so I doubt I've installed it incorrectly, due to the mount only fits on one way.

I'm sure we would work something out as our mounts are covered against manufacturing defects. You would really have to email us pictures if you end up with any damage and we'd go from there. We will also be able to respond much faster via email.
