Pricing issue with 6-sp
I was very disappointed when I heard from my local Acura dealer about their "best pricing" on the 2003 CL-s w/6-sp. They wanted $31.5m w/o Nav. I have purchased Acuras since 1987, but this gouging attitude is pissing me off.
On the comeptitive front there is hope! I priced a similarly equipped Maxima SE w/6-sp & HSLD and it can be had for under $26m. That's almost $6m in savings. While it may not be the best comparison to do a 4-door to a coupe, the performance appears slightly in favor of the Maxima... more TQ and over 200 lbs lighter! The good news is that the Infiniti division will be bringing out the G35 in coupe form this fall. The sketches I have seen on their website look impressive, as does the running gear... 260 HP & 260+TQ, 6-sp w/HLSD and most importantly, rear-wheel drive. All rumored for under $30m!
I assume it would be wise to wait to compare the two coupes, and by then, maybe Acura will get its pricing in-line

For the money (bang for the buck), out of the 3 cars you posted, the CL is still the clear winner.
You have to remember that you went into a dealer trying to get a killer price on a car which just came out and is only being produced in small numbers, like 2700. You call it price gouging, however, I simply believe you're being unrealistic here. If they were trying to get that type of price and not being flexible on the "regular" SportShift/Auto CL-S, then it would be a different story....

CLS wins again. Best bang for the buck. Moreover, the mods that will are available for the CLS will make the 6MT VERY VERY fast luxary sports coupe. If i had to chose, then the CLS would be my choice.

msrp on a loaded max se tops $30k, so it sounds like you'd be getting a pretty good deal...
