I have been shopping some used 02-03 CL Type S Acura's. Here a couple I have found so far that are super clean.

02 CL Type S(white) 20k miles for $22,000?
02 CL Type S(silver) 27k miles for $21,998 at Carmax?

I know buying from an individual will be somewhat less expensive. My problem is I live in San Antonio & there are just no used Type S Acura's on the market here. I will probably have to go to Austin. Dallas, or Houston. Are these fair prices for 02's? What can I look to pay for a 03 Type S with 15k or less miles. A certified 02 Type S with 20-25k miles? Thanks

 

Avoid CarMax...they are usually maintained like shit and are in crappy condition. The one I saw at a CarMax was missing emblems, cracked mirrors, dead clock LCD, etc..

 

Get one from a dealer and get it certified.

 

not sure about texas, but I'm on the east coast, and I've seen 03 Type-S 6MT for about $23000 with 24k miles

 

I bought mine in Houston because at the time there was only one dealer in Austin. I saved ~ $1500 over what McDavid Acura of Austin was asking. Check the Houston & Dallas Sunday papers.

 

Maybe out in Delaware but no chance closer to MD/DC/VA area. You can't touch a 6MT for under $25k right now. From a dealer that is.

 

Dude if you're not picky about color you could come to Houston and probably get a good deal on a new '03 cause it's end of the year and they wanna get rid what they have left since it'll be discontinued. I know Sterling McCall Acura in Houston has a few.

2003 CLS auto w/ 13K for $21,900 (private sale).

Remember that if you buy from a dealer, a used CL should be certified and be covered under a extended warrenty. Might be worth the extra $$$.

 

It is def. worth the extra $$$. With all the problems our cars have (rotors, IMRC, etc.) an extended warranty is a must.
