Acura Announces Pricing for 2003 3.2 CL Luxury Performance Coupe

Torrance, Calif 03/07/2002 -- Acura today announced pricing for the 2003 3.2 CL luxury performance coupe. The 3.2 CL comes in two models; the sporty 3.2 CL, priced at $28,200, and the high-performance CL Type-S, priced at $30,550 and now available with an all-new, close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission. The only factory option available is the Acura Satellite-Linked Navigation System, priced at $2,150. Despite numerous upgrades and improvements, 2003 prices reflect a modest 0.7 percent increase compared to last year based on a sales-weighted average. Both CL models go on sale March 14 at Acura dealers nationwide.

The 2003 3.2 CL features a 225 horsepower V-6 engine with 5-speed Sequential SportShift' automatic transmission, independent front and rear double-wishbone suspension and 4-wheel disc brakes. The 260 horsepower CL Type-S comes with either a 5-speed Sequential SportShift automatic transmission or the new 6-speed manual transmission. The CL Type-S with automatic transmission features Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) to further enhance its performance capabilities while manual transmission models employ an all-new limited slip differential.

All 2003 CL models receive styling enhancements including a redesigned front fascia, new taillights and larger exhaust finishers. CL models equipped with the optional Acura Satellite-Linked Navigation System now include the OnStar" in-vehicle communications service as standard equipment.
