Why does our car have everything but auto locks when you turn on the ignition. If anyone has had this done, about how much does it cost?

 

Not everybody like that feature.

 

I know with GM cars, it auto-locks when the car is put into gear not when its turned on.

 

I don't think any Hondas do that stock..

but if you really wanted to do that, you could get an aftermarket alarm that has that features..

I had this in my last car.. it would unlock when I turned off the car too.

If you're really ambitious, you could wire a switch to the plug on the back of the panel that gets power when your ignition is on so that it will lock or unlock your doors
