i found a piece of the old belt. looks like a 6 rib 82" long. worked good. ac/alt/crank/tensioner/sc

 

i ordered a gates agricultural belt for my sc setup. should be interesting lol. its like bright green. another thing to make people look hah.

 

any chance you have a part number for that belt bud?

running a 81.5 now. the 82 gave me charging problems.

 

I was just able to get to the tare down on the engine this weekend.
Had 5 pistons with multiple ring lands cracks on each.
And 2 pistons had broken side skirts.
Every piston had damage.
Oil pan and pickup was full of metal.
Looks like no damage to cylinder walls.

Rings held the ring land pieces in I guess,and side skirts just dropped down.

Are you running an AEM EMS yet? You've got some awesome work, and it would be a shame to see it untuned.

 

Wow that sucks, did you install the ESM? If you didn't that's the reason why your engine didn't last

trying to finish up my 03 cls6 swap and next is the m90 SC..

 

Do you have an AEM EMS 2?

I have seen several members blow their engines running boost without a proper tune. An untuned J32 won't take M90 boost, especially without an intercooler.

ive been peeping the zzp short stack intercooler and the pnp 6mt aem. im running FIC now but im pretty sure i have some extreme knock going on and lost a good bit of compression in 4-5-6. i really want to turn this setup-up. ive surprised so many unsuspecting people on the highway or at car meets/shows.

 

Considering parting out my car.
Not sure what everything is going for these days but I think Ive had enough with it.
Ready to drive more of a luxury smooth riding auto.
