i brought my car in for a whining noise in the engine, and at first they said it was the power steering pump...after replacing the pump...they then said it was the power steering rack...there was fluid around the area....the service guy said it was probably due to the lowering of my car...i have comptech springs...1 inch should'nt do any damage...i was wondering if any of you guys is CT springs have had this problem or heard any noise when first start your car when it's cold?...regardless...he did all the work under warranty and alligned it for me which was cool...just giving yall heads up incase any of you guys experience any noises while turning or starting in the morning...

 

i have the same problem but mines not lowered. mine only squeeked cuz it was low on fluid. the rack on my car is leaking though.
