Potholes 4 - Mantis 0

SIGH, yet another BR5 has fallen victim to a Texas pothole the size of...well...Texas..

I'm down to one rim that hasn't been refinished. Wonder how long she'll hold out. I'd give her about a month.

Ever have one of those days where absolutely fucking nothing goes right? I'm slap in the middle of one of those right now.

I wonder what kinda stupid shit will happen next..

damn mantis, after that many encounters with potholes I'd be going 20 mph everywhere. This happens so much, I think you need to buy a couple extra BR5s and toyos so you can just switch them out when it happens again.

I totally feel your pain. My last car I went through 6 rims in a year. They must have been made of plastic. Thank god they weren't $500 a pop. Sorry to hear about that....

lets see, other stupid shit...

pinched the fuck outta my middle finger on my right hand, can't type or bowl worth a shit now, the makeshift nurse at my job had to pop the blister with a safety pin cause so much blood was building up under the skin...
wish i had a camera, this shit looks nasty.
scratched up the face on my favorite watch after dropping the valve stem cap under the car
fucked up my new shoes by getting grim all over them from the unmounted tire
think i just busted my rear passenger strut (front passenger was just busted recently)

this day just keeps getting better.

I need alcohol

Shit, bro!! Sorry about the BR5...finest lookin' rims. A little more than $500, if I remember correctly, though.

Drink up! Nothin' a little booze and ass won't cure.

unfucking believeable... so I'm driving home, hitting a few bumps on the way... I have a few loose lugnuts in my trunk flopping around...

One of the fuckers manages to land so that it connects the positive and negative connections on my farad cap... guess what! No fuckin music!!!!!!! I don't know if both amps are blown, but I believe they are.

This is just getting more stupid by the hour...

I can't fuckin believe this shit...
Ima go take a pic of the lugnut to show the burn marks where it connected...

It may not look like much, but this fucker hurts
the notch in the middle is where the makeshift nurse punched a hole in it with a safety pin. I wish I woulda got a pic of it before she popped it.

I'll just think of all the other bad days I've heard about on this forum, people losing 2 cars in one day, car accidents, etc maybe that'll make me feel better. Nope, it didn't.
