Advice for selling my 6 spd

Jus wanted to know if its better that i trade it in the dealership or sell it privatly? never done either one of them before and needed some tips.
Its silver 6 spd with 18000 miles w/o navi

Sell it to a private party. The dealers will try & ream you.

Put it in the paper for a reasonable amount(Autotrader works good too).
