If you dont run at least a 13.7, are you going to trade this in for a Neon?

lol..hell no, more like a '93 honda civic dx automatic...lol

seriously, even with the bad humidity, i should be @ 13.2 @ 110-112mph. im hoping for a 12.99 sometime hopefully. the best with my mods and street tires is 12.82 @114mph on the forums. the best ones with more mods are in the low 12's and high 11's with stock turbo..
10.9 @ 137mph is the fastest ever street cobalt...lol

You cant say your car runs that though until you actually do it. After all, people on here broke into the 13s with the same mods as your CL

13.2@108 was my best...It was really hard to launch and the weather was 72* and 92% humidity...oh well, i will try better again next time..Reese has a video when he beat me and i ran a 13.4 and he ran a 13.3 in his swapped accord...that thing runs hard as hell...

Thanks man. Not to mention a 10mph head wind. Im sure if you get a better launch you could be in the 12s next time.

We will see. my tuner said something is wrong because i should be trapping 110-112 and running a 12.8 even with my conservative boost ramp and torque management...

Btw, the 380wtq is from a k04 turbo, great transmission and axles and the way it is tuned...if i had an aftermarket clutch, i would be able to have 100% power in 1st 2nd and 3rd, rather than 50% 1st, 85% 2nd and 3rd gear like I have now..And with an after market intercooler, i can raise the timing some as well to give me more power. The guy that tuned me had 362whp and 410wtq with those mods!!!!
It is still reliable with that kinda power too...400+whp needs some internal stuff done

Well, i found out why i was running so slow and my car was bogging out. My clutch blew and so did my intercooler. I have a pretty bad boost leak and my 2nd and 3rd gear just totally are shot when i left the track. I was thinking i was spinning tires, but really it was the clutch going bye bye...lol...$1500 and $400 for a new intercooler...$2k, and ive only been tuned for 200 miles before this happened...not happy at all

U want to play u gotta pay but Did u even think that stock clutch would handle it ? U are around 100% power than it came out from a factory. Please tell me it wasnt stock clutch... Get AAA Because your axles are next.

yeah, i guess the only time it was 100% was when i was driving home after getting tuned, then my charge pipe blew off and i put it back together and didnt think it was a big deal, then it was idling poorly and never got any better. Plus the day before i went to the track, i raced someone from second and my car was very slow, and i thought it was me loosing traction, but it was actually my clutch burning up, and it has been the whole time and im too stupid to realize that till recently...lol
Yeah, im gonna be light in the pockets for a while till i get things fixed, but hopefully by summer, i will be 100%, and then i can really start tracking the car....
