As for the licence plates. The reason why we don't put licence plates on the forums, is so that we don't compile a single place (also easily accessible) to car thiefs. Well.. You run a 14.6 on a good day? every .1 of a second is a car length when racing in the 1/4 mile. So plan on losing by 8-10 cars at least. And if you race on the highway. You'll get a serious ass handing. Guess you can always hope he sucks at driving his porsche. That'll be your only chance.

996 N/A is a mid-low 13 second car.

ummm true a good day but my car has run a 14.6 in the middle of summer just ask lou i have a new tranny in there and i am beating six speeds CL-S stock and there traping anywere from 96 to 98mph stock so my friend siggy i know i have a fair shot. maybe not win but 8 to 10 cars no FAWKIN way maybe 2 the most!!!!

nitrotiger ... that 996 (auto or not) is going to kick your butt. Just race for fun, don't bet anything on it. Just some friendy advise.

 

It'll be 6 cars for sure even if he runs a 14.0 dude. Since it should lower than a 14.0 it'll be +6 cars. Bring a video camera. Maybe you can prove me wrong. I wouldn't mind. I have a faster CLS that you do. Ran a 14.2 with stock tries on. I have had my ass handed to me by a 996 (manual tranny) by *many* car lengths. It's a highway car anyway, not really a 0-60. Those porsches shine on the highway.

even if your car ran 14.6 stock, the worst an auto 996 will run is mid/high 13's...there shouldnt be any traction problems... how do you honestly think your car will hang with it? anyway goodluck with the race. post of vid of the slaughter.

Well, I do have to say.....Topgaytrader is probably one of the biggest Trolls I have ever seen on the net. He's on multiple forums doing his thing, he takes over the identity of a deceased person, lies about owning multiple expensive cars, avoids the questions being asked, and keeps coming back for more like nothing happened.

Not sure. As far as I know, it involves different turbo chargers, intercoolers, ECU and transmission components. Don't know if there are any exterior markings or etc.

I did a little search about DJ Demi, and i can't believe he is actually a friend of one of my not too close friend.

DJ Demi, a 20 yrs old Taiwanese kids living in Vancouver. He is still ALIVE !! You go to his website www.djdemi.com and you would see this date that appears to be the date of his pass away. I asked my friend, and he said he is still alive and he did that just for fun.

This guy is quite amazing, made a fortune running online casino. All the cars you see, the z3, the 911, all "earned" by him. So nothing from daddy or mommy for him.

He is really proud about that. Anyways, anyone who can read chinese will know what he is trying to say in that flash intro page. He wanted to prove that he doesnt' need any of those shit.. money from parent for education, he doesnt' follow any rules, and he party with pot everyday, and etc.
