Could these be in any way related? I popped my clutch and stalled in a drive through. After I started it back up the light lit up. I do have the Comptech Icebox and thought maybe it is causing this by coincidence.

I've seen mine come on briefly when I dropped the clutch from about 2500 rpm (can you say wheelhop), but it only stayed on for about 30 seconds and then reset.

It was just idling. I was at a stop waiting for the car in front of me to pay at the drive through window. Luckily I didn't hit the car in front of me.

I did double check the gas cap as the owners manual says for this Malfunction light.

I guess I'm just worried that Acura won't honor the warranty if they see my Icebox. I only have 10,700 miles.

Are you refering to the CEL light?

I've seen it as well when i get bad wheel hop.

Not sure what the CEL light it, but the manual calls this light the Malfunction Indicator Light. It looks like a engine icon. The manual keeps saying it was to do with excessive emissions.

hmmmm it's on all the time?? It's thrown a code....might want to take it to AutoZone so they can run a check? I remember Jens saying that the engine/ecu doesn't like very low RPMs?

Check Engine Light = CEL.

It's the same as the the little engine icon

Check the code.... if it *blinked*.... its the front motor-mount dampener, I believe. This car doesn't like the motor rocking!

Happened to me a once while overcooking a launch. The light didn't stay on. Excessive wheel hop will set it off for sure.
