Poll: new NAVI DVD, worth the money?
I am debating getting the DVD only because of the extreme data increase and I think it would make the system more relevant in smaller towns, etc. To those who have seen or used it, is it worth the money?

Definitely worth it. The old version of the DVD was terrible in my area.
The new one has EVERY road and EVERY little subdivision mapped.
Plus, the old ones still have resale value on EBAY.
I sold mine for over 100-bucks and they are STILL selling in the 50-100 range today.

You should consider whether you think Nashville has changed enough to warrant the upgrade. Do you consistently drive on roads that don't show? Do you search for POIs that show the nearest 9 miles away when you're looking at one right in front of you? Does the Navi route you the way in which you were never go? Well...forget that one. The difference between $100 and $180 is not that much. I'm keeping my old disc, so when I sell my car, I will put the old disc back in it, and sell the new disc outright.
For me, the new disc is definitely sweet.

I'm with Shawn on this on. Its worth it.
I like the icons of schools and the new secondary roads are in there as well now. If you can spend 2k for a Nav system you can spend under $200 for a DVD.
(unless you bought it used, but even then $800 or so compared to $200 ain't bad)

I say no. But I guess it's worth is relative to if you live in the city or the sticks.
The city has better coverage. I personally am disappointed.
