Okay, here I am. I've just ordered (again) some of the M-6s. I've STILL got blue caps in my light housings. I know how to change the lights, as I've got the 19169's running now. I want to know from those whose done it...HOW TO AVOID crushing these new bulbs also. I almost bought four bulbs just in case I hose it....again....

Dude as you know, the M6 bulb is a tad larger, remove the light housing, one screw, and do the swap.

Exactly. One screw and the whole housing can be removed. Shawn S. posted the instructions in another topic a few days ago. I put my 19169s in yesterday and it was pretty easy. The best thing is to use a flashlight so you can see where the screw is.

As my way has gotten (is that a word?) me nowhere, I'll try it your way when they come in.

Are the 19169s the same color as the HIDs? I'm not looking to match up the color to the HIDs. Just have something maybe 10 watts in there instead of 5. Does anyone make 10 watt bulbs that fit in the roadlamp housing?

If ya don't want to take the lamp out just pull the two pins on each side out, reach up under the bumper skirt. Easy....

They are in for two weeks now i think. No melt, look great and actually give off light! What a concept.... Someone on the list mentioned they had them in for over 6 months and no melt down yet.

Sylvania are 16, how many watts are the Polargs, and the 19169s? Yeah, I could go to the site, but I'm sure someone knows.

Brack,
I just bought the yellow PIAA's and haven't had a chance to install them yet. What do you think of them? I know they'll be better than the stock fog bulbs, but what's your opinion on the color and amount of light they produce?

I was thinking of getting a set of PIAA eye's with the Ion-Crystal Yellow's this summer...any body used these before or have them currently?

Thanks
B-TS
