Polarg M6s light are off from the headlights.
I just installed my Polarg M6 bulbs yesterday. And yes I did have to shave some of the plastic off to get the right one to fit. After installing the bulbs, they look like a different shade of blue compared to the headlights. Ive seen pictures on this forum of people using the M6 bulbs, and they look much better in the pics. Is there any break-in period on these bulbs, where the lose more of their blue tint? Anyone seen this before?

On my car, the M6's are white, and the low beams have a hint of blue in them.

My M6's are white as well. I would like for them to have a little MORE blue tint to match the headlights better.

No blue whatsoever. Pure white exstasy!
The only slight bluishness comes from the M4's I have on the door courtesy lights

The Polarg M6s are "super white" bulbs, the "plazma blue" bulbs are the ones that are supposed to be the closest match to the bluish tint of HIDs.

I find that the Polargs are not an exact match on my car either. Did you check the color right after installing them, or did you leave the headlights on for a while?
I've been advised (and have noticed) that the light from the headlights tends to change from bluish to more whitish after they have been on for a few minutes. Even then, the M-6s don't seem to match perfectly, but they are still closer than anything else I've tried, IMHO.

Polargs are not an exact match, but they look a hella lot better then stock. I was thinking of getting some lights with a higher wattage, but I dont want to risk melting the housing.

They look good as far as being white but the are weak as shit. That is why I am getting the polargs. I have the PIAAs now, I guess I will just put them some where else.

I just got my Polarg M6s today because I thought one of my 19169s blew out. But when I check again, it was back on.
Anyway, the 19169s look better than stock, much better. But I hear M6s are even better. I haven't installed them yet but looking at the bulb in the package, they appear to be blue just like the 19169s.
I can take a side by side picture tonight if necessary. BTW, my M6 package says P8714W 12V 18W.

Polargs will be the closest you will get to our hids. nothing can match it 100% since our lights are hids and regular bulbs can only imitate that color and is impossible to light up to that brightness.

I just upgraded from the PIAAs to the Polargs yesterday. MUCH BETTER! It took about 10 minutes to install them...didn't have any problems fitting them in. When you first turn the lights on, they don't match too well, but after they warm up, they get closer, but still no match. I think not only are they a ton brighter than the PIAAs, but they're also a closer match. I'm satisfied....for now at least.
