Funny lil story about Eclipses...For some stupid reason before leasing my Type-S, I was looking into leasing an Eclipse GT Spyder... My interest quickly stopped when I actually got in that car and drove it. What a p.o.s.!!! Just like a mustang...all plastic...Pure cheese. Anyway the moron dealer actually has the audacity to quote me a lease price of $550/month with 2,000 down...HAHAHAHA I laughed and walked out. Was that guy on crack or what? Needless to say, I got a great deal on my Type-S and paid alot less than I would have with the schmuck at the Mitsu dealership. As for racing a new Eclipse GT, it wouldn't even be close!!!

My last car was a black 97 GSX, now that was the last car mitsubishi put out that had some serious balls. Mitsubishi really messed up by taking away that all wheel drive turbo monster. I just got back from vacation where I rented an 01 Syder. NO BALLS! This car was soooooooo weak I almost got in an accident twice trying to speed up on Orlando's treacherous roads.

I must agreee, my sis's bf has a 98 gsx with a 19c turbo(ported and clipped) and apexi megaphone dunk series exhaust w/ a 5" tip, air cleaner, downpipe, electronic boost control, large fuel injectors and a greddy BOV, this car is f'n serious, about 400 horses maybe more. But after the 99 gsx was finished, so was the eclipse, the new ones are shit.
