in order to replace the HID unit, disconnect the battery, then you'll have to remove the bumper (use the search function for this, there's a bunch of threads and DIYs), then disconnect and remove the headlight assembly. There's 2 mounting bolts on top and 3 underneath.

After that, you'll need to remove the bulb socket from the HID bulb, remove the 3 mounting screws and the HID unit. Then install new one in reverse order of removal

For just the bulb, you'll need to take off the round cover on the back of the headlight assembly (remove the Torx bolt w/ tamper-proof torx T25 bit), inside you'll see the bulb, it's just a matter of disconnecting it, pulling out the retaining spring and installing the new one (make sure not to touch the glass of the bulbs).

You need a security torx. Its different from a regular torx. Some people use a tiny flathead screwdriver to take out the screw instead of buying a security torx bit..

Is the one you got too big? Mine was a torx T-20 not T-25.
