I need to hook up a VAFC, and it appears that the ECU for the 01-02 is different, than the 03. Anyone with the Helm please help asap. thanks.

 

it's the same as the 2001..i tinks..just do a search

 

Scalbert sent me the 01-02. It's not the same. The 01 Pics have A/T all over the place. It just doesn't match up. I know that someone here must have a 2003 Helm. Please help me out.

 

I do, but I don’t know what to scan for you.
Didn’t we go down this same road a few days ago?

I see DTC, PGM-FI, PSP, MIL, but no ECU.

OK I see how it is..... Rabbit punch below the belt while I was distracted by HELMS ! Yes ECM/ECU/PCM (Simple logic **might** lead you to this conclusion by **looking** at the connector diagrams/descriptions/or same fucking chapter in the 03 book) But Im just rambling LOL :P

BTW: TITAN

I used to run the VAFC **BUT** Be careful doing so... not so much worry about the mixtures but I had 3 different units that were all falsing VTM signals causing the vtec solenoid to attempt engaging vtec and ultimately setting (VTEC SYSTEM FAILURE DTC'S)

 

After I hook up the VAFC, what do i set the initial settings to? I'm getting it Dyno Tuned, so I think they will make sure that the settings are safe.
