Playing with a mustang GT

Tonight on the way home from dinner a mustang GT (I think a 2000...same body) was riding my ass on the on-ramp. I wasn't feeling that at all, so when he started passing me (DISCLAIMER - in a four lane highway with no one else on the road) at about 65 I hit 3rd into WOT, and took pulled away from him....stopped accelerating once I hit 110 with about 3 lengths on him.... He followed me off my exit, and we talked for a few minutes. He said that he thought "CL's came with a V-6?"....I said they do. He then asked "How did you fit even a small V-8 in that body?" ......When I told him I still had a 3.2L V6 under the hood with bolt ons, he looked pretty upset. I think I about matched him HP numbers (he was stock at 260, AFAIK) but I think I took him due to lack of any driving skills on his part....

Not a "Ram" kill, but fun in a Cl-P!!

2000 GT only runs 260 hp.....I should be about that with my mods (and I think he was a really shitty driver....that never helps )

My best friend has a 2001 CL Type S with no mods and I watched him pull on a Mustang GT before. Not too many folks really take Type-S CLs seriously because there are way more Mustangs on the road than CLs. You're more likely to see a Mustang GT run all out than a CL. My friend had his for three years before I actually got to see him open it up. After that I was sold and made up my mind that I was gonna get a CL or TL. The definate sleeper if you ask me.

I raced 3 GTs till now and beat all 3 of them (I drive a Type-S). They gave me a pretty exciting race but couldnt pass me.
Oh, and once i confused this Cobra for a GT. Tried to race him and he SSSMMMOOOOKKEEEDDD me so bad it was embarassing. Those Cobras sound scary when they are at WOT right next to your open window.
