Plastic Rivets

Does anyone know where I can buy some reasonably priced plastic rivets (used for the front bumper, fender shroud, etc)? I've seen a few members say they were only a few cents a piece, but the dealers in my area are trying to gouge me for like $5 each!!

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Found a thread in the CL INFO page... couldn't find it before because the search function isn't working, but Google got me there.

Mods - please close this thread.

What part of that was vague?

Do a search on eBay for bumper clips and you will find people selling packs of them. Sorry but I don't have time to do your research.

If your first response wasn't vague, why bother reposting? There are so many different search phrases and key words that will yield different results on ebay. Merely telling somebody to go to ebay.com is piss poor advice.

I didn't want you to do my research, I wanted feedback from someone who had experience with this particular topic. Isn't that the point of a forum? With the search function broken my options were limited. I didn't PM you so I wasn't seeking your advice, specifically. If you don't have adequate info or time don't bother posting. GEEZ!

Now somebody please lock this useless thread!!!

Any auto parts store, especially ones that mix paint for body shops. I do not mean Auto Zone or Advanced. The regular old fashion kind, with names like "Mel's Auto Parts".

Talk about blowing things out of proportion! A) The search function was not functional that night, B) I immediately posted that I'd ended up finding the info on the 2nd gen info thread, C) I wasn't insulting him, I was defending my point of view - Do you seriously think "ebay.com" was a complete answer? Even if he'd said "search ebay.com for bumper clips" like he did in his 2nd post, I would've been able to use that. It seemed sarcastic.

Either way, if you really want to keep me off the site for expressing my opinion, do what you need to do.

And seriously, don't start with the name calling... what did you really accomplish? Is 2 years on the site even considered a newb?

Are you serious with these responses? Do you not have the intelligence to go to ebay and do a search on acura cl bumper clips?

I think you should take fuzzy's advice. Treat people how you'd like to be treated. Trust me, people on this board have a way of ganging up on members who don't show respect.

Respect me cause I'm a MegaMod? Hell no, respect me cause I'm a member of the greatest Acura board on the planet. :endrant:
